Mrs. Jacque Dixon
Mrs. Jacque Dixon has been married to her husband, Matt, for 21 years. Together they aspire, strive and hope to train eight of their nine children up in the Scriptures home schooling on their small homestead in Indiana. They have home schooled for 17 years and have graduated two daughters thus far.
They founded Gleaning the Harvest in December 2008 to present widows and fatherless families to the Body of Christ.
Mrs. Dixon is the owner and administrator of Training Daughters Teaching Wives, Training Sons To Be Men, and State Exploration, a history/geography site. She blogs encouraging home school articles and Living Learning Moments at her personal blog, Walking Therein, and studies the Scriptures with her family online at Studying the Scriptures.
Miss Jocelyn
Miss Jocelyn is our 18 year-old second daughter who delights in God and her family. She is a great help to her Father Sir and Mother Dear as she helps keep the home and teach and train her siblings. She has a passion for writing truth, is a great friend, and gifted at web designing.
She blogs from her heart at A Pondering Heart, designs blogs at A Pondering Heart Boutique, and owns and operates Feelin’ Feminine. She also writes on our other family websites.
Miss Rachel
Miss Rachel is a 16-year-old homeschool student and the third daughter in our family. She enjoys being home, in the barn, blogging and being with family. She is happy to be learning knitting, crocheting and sewing, and has always been a wiz at creating things in the kitchen. She is a baker, helps watch her younger siblings, and loves being an older sister as well as a younger sister, a homemaker-in-training, a homesteader and gardener.
Miss Rachel is an avid reader, a wonderful writer and artist, and can be a clean-freak at times. You can find out more about Miss Rachel at her blogs – A City On A Hill and Rachel’s Reasoning.
Miss Hannah
Miss Hannah is our spunky 10 year old. She is the fifth-born and the 4th daughter in our family and loves her pretty blog home at Resting in the Arms of Grace. She delights in serving her family, reading books, and playing with her favorite dolls. She enjoys being home, feeding the goats and chickens in the barn, playing with her baby sister and brothers, crocheting, knitting, and helping in the kitchen.
Miss LucyLillie
Miss LucyLillie is the littlest Dixon gal. She is a happy, sweet baby sister. She loves her family, going barefoot, playing outside and pretty dresses. She makes up a large part of the growing and experiences in this home, so we can’t help but include her in the Authors list!
