Doing the laundry can be a daunting task, especially if you live in a large family, but with so many hands it’s easy to complete the job with everyone helping. We’ve tried several methods of keeping the laundry done, and just recently we’ve each been given our own days on which we wash our clothes and then towels. It has worked out nicely. It always helps immensely when you know what you’re supposed to do and how to do it.

  1. Jocelyn – question for you on the laundry. Since there are more than 7 of you in your family, how do you assign days? I am curious to try this method. We have 8 in our family, so I could probably do the two youngests together. Do you each have your own laundry baskets then?

    Miss Jocelyn Reply:

We each have our own days but two of us have the same day. Those who share rooms each have one basket between them. Just a smaller round one.

  2. I wish I was this organized…my system is more like I do the laundry when one of us runs out of clean underware…or the hamper is filled to the brim, whichever comes first!
